Tina McBride Pello Hairdressing February 2018

It’s 2018 and for a lot of us it's hard to believe we're into another year so let's not sit back and regret what changes we didn't make for 2017. With ‘dreaded January’ firmly behind us let's see these new years resolution been carried out . It's time to embrace your inner diva and go for that new “do”that's going to carry you through the next few months and get you well and truly into the swing of the year ahead.Let face it there's no better way forward than with a change of colour or simply a new hairdo.

Here are our top trends from Pello Hairdressing for the months ahead.

BIG AND BOUNCY

Big is back for 2018, right in time for all the red hot super glam cat-walk and red-carpet events that we so love to watch at this time of year.

Big curly hair is in overdrive.Think 1980’s Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City….and less 1980’s perms .With all these amazing products on the market we can make it big bouncy coiffured and polished like never before.

The difference is it's all about manageability and creating more texture with loads of volumn and soft flicks.Again it's all about achievability and using the right products like Aveda’s Texture tonic which is a combo of salt and sugar that helps anyone create that tousled texture effect that looks amazing and so -so glam.

DIRTY BLONDE

This is definitely the A-listers hair colour trend of the day. It's the new platinum that was so huge in 2017 with Kristen Stewart and Cara Delevingne leading the trend.Well this year that's been replaced by golden shades with warmer tones.

It's no longer about getting your hair whiter than white which was not always attainable for everyone and it's more about keeping it warmer at the ends and darker at the roots for 2018.

SILVER HAIR

Last year was all about pastels and grays. So drum roll please for the introduction of a metallic finish and wait for it silver gray hair.

Silver hair is the new grey and we adore this look at Pello Hairdressing. It's a much shinier take on the flatter grey colour of last year which didn't always flatter everyone's skin tones.

The transition from Gray to metallic is all about gloss so it's all about using the right choice of tone.

BOBS WITH A BANG

We're predicting that everyone with a bob is going to accessorize it with a flattering texture fringe this year. There's no better way to take baby steps into a new style then by adding a fringe. Unlike last year which was more about blunt go for a more cool, casual look and get your stylist to add a longer textured fringe to your style.Although this style almost suits all face shapes if it's not for you opt for a soft layered flyaway fringe instead .This look is taking the runway by storm this season and will make you look casual, chic, and bang on trend.
