After what felt like quite a long winter, it’s nice to be able to set our sights toward longer sunnier Summer evening. And since summer 2019 is finally on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to look at what’s trending in hair color. Rather than have you scroll endlessly through Insta for some hair inspo, here at Pello Hairdressing we have done the work for you.
Here’s what our celeb hair stylists are saying that their clients are requesting—and what you should anticipate to see as the Next Big Thing.

“When it comes to summer hair colour ideas most of us crave to go a little lighter” says Aishling one of our Aveda master colourist here at Pello Hairdressing.
1. Glossing
Top of the ista hit list is kendall jenner's so if your dark then your in luck this year as Glossing is having a huge moment for summer 2019. Blueish dark tones are megga just as long as your hair looks sleek and super super shiney. Patrick the owner says ‘glossing is something we had introduced to our own colour menu this year .Our instant shine treatment not only boosts shine but it conditions hair for results that last up to 20 washes.
2. Lilac / blue makeovers
Bid adieu to millennial pink as a new pastel hair trend has emerged, with searches for lilac and blue tresses increasing by a staggering 1077 per cent in 2019. If you want to start experimenting but still look like a grown up then no better place than pinterest or instagram but please remember that any salon or stylist can only do what your hair allows.
Now there have been quite a lot of celebs who have jumped on this bandwagon but we loved it when Lady Gaga deputed this colour at the beginning of the year just in time for the Golden Globes.
Now if you’re a fan of Lady Gaga you will know that she has been platinum blonde like for quite a long time compared to other celebrities who love to change it up almost monthly especially for someone who loves to experiment with fashion. But what’s not to love about this blue makeover?
3. Dusky Copper Hair
Although red hair is always stunning, many clients shy away from the hueas as they may think it’s just a little bit to “fiery”. However the good news is that this Summer we are seeing a huge trend in Dusky copper hair, say our Aveda colourist Georgiana. She says ‘ I love this colour it's warm for a summer colour but it definitely not over the top’.
"You still get that gorgeous red shade, but just a little bit more toned down". Here at Pello Hairdressing we think it looks amazing at this time of the year.

4 OMBRÉ BLONDES
"Finally we can't leave out our blondes for Summer" says Aishling .
Now if you want to lighten it up but really don't want the full platinum look where your darker roots are going to show too quickly then just go with Lauren Conrad's amazing brunette to blonde effect.We love it and it's just the perfect gradient colour and low maintenance colour and hairstyle for anyone with a busy Summer schedules who still wants amazing looking hair.
